Summer in Bohinj
No weather is bad weather in Bohinj:
it takes you only a short walk from the apartments to come to Lake Bohinj where you can enjoy the crystal-clear water. In the summer it warms up to 25°C (77°F) thus being a perfect place for swimming, fishing, sailing, surfing and kayaking and canoeing.
Canyoning
is an extreme sport suitable for any and the whole family that wants to experience something unforgettable.
We meet at the apartments Mavrica where we dress the neoprene suits and other equipment. A mini bus will drive us up the Voje valley to the starting point. After exciting two hours of swimming, jumping and walking through the canyon we will be back at Mavrica again.
Cycling
At Mavrica we rent bikes and advise you on short or longer cycling trips and organise them with the combination of mini bus transfer.
Hiking
The variety of alpine flowers is in the valley and in the mountains unique in Europe. We will show you the way to the beautiful flora that is well preserved in Slovenia. You can find many medicinal herbs, which are an extraordinary doctor for the modern human.
An electric boat for 50 people that sails over the lake offers a unique panorama of the area. It stops at some of the most interesting sightseeing points: Ribčev Laz (Church of St. John), Pod Voglom (Church of the Holy Spirit) and Ukanc (Camp Zlatorog).
